Within many ancient languages the word for breath also means spirit, life, and soul.

Breath is not just a physiological process — it is the sacred thread that connects us to all of life. It is how Spirit moves through the body. It is how we remember who we truly are.

what is A breathwork Journey?

A Breathwork Journey is an experiential, somatic practice rooted in the lineage of Holotropic Breathwork. It is an active form of meditation that uses intentional breathing patterns to access the subconscious mind, release emotions stored at a cellular level, regulate the nervous system and access deeper states of awareness and clarity.

what can i expect?

Grounding

We begin lying down with eyes closed. A guided meditation supports you in arriving into your body and this present moment.

 

Activation Phase

A fast-paced, circular breath pattern gently activates the sympathetic nervous system in a safe, supported space. This opens the doorway to buried emotions & unprocessed experiences… as well as joy, clarity and inspired soul-level insight.

This breath alters blood pH and brainwave patterns, allowing your body to move what has been stagnant. You may feel sensations, emotions, or spontaneous movement. Your expression is welcome.

Loud music supports the rhythm of the breath, helping to carry and amplify the energy of the experience.

Vocal breath holds and releases are used to help express and move what’s present.

 

Integration Phase

The latter portion of the journey slows; the breath shifts into a gentle rhythm that engages the parasympathetic nervous system - bringing the body into balance. Here, the nervous system settles and we have opportunity and space for the heart to open and to integrate all we’ve just experienced.

Crystal singing bowls deepen this integration as their pure frequencies move fluidly through the body, dissolving tension, and creating conditions for spaciousness and deep coherence and harmony. Beyond the physical, their song awakens a sacred remembrance - that we are vibration, we are Light.

 

Every journey is different, every time. No two sessions will ever be the same – because you’re not the same. This is somatic work. It’s not something to figure out. It’s something to feel. Trust the wisdom of the breath. Be present with it and it will bring you what you need in this moment, for your healing, your wholeness and your evolution.

  • Yoga mat

Wear comfortable clothes. Layering is helpful as your body temperature can fluctuate. Avoid large meals at least 90 minutes before.
